Lukaku wants Andre Villas-Boas to snap up Jordan

New Chelsea signing Romelu Lukaku has revealed his delight at making his debut for the Stamford Bridge club, and has stated that he would love his brother to join him in London.

The 18-year-old joined The Blues in a deal reportedly worth £18 million, and made his debut for his new employers against Norwich on Saturday, coming off the bench to replace Fernando Torres.

The Belgium international forward shot to fame with Anderlecht, bagging 20 goals in all competitions last season, and his brother Jordan, who is 17, is also a product of the Pro League outfit’s youth academy.

“I have loved Chelsea since I was a boy. Now that I have fulfilled a dream by joining Chelsea, my final one is to have my brother join me one day,” the Antwerp born hitman told the press.

“It is our dream to play in the same team. We have done it in friendly games but, one day, we hope to do it when it matters.”

Lukaku has been compared to Didier Drogba due to his physique and appearance, but feels that his younger sibling is a more gifted player.

“Technically he is better than me. He is a left winger who is very skilful and strong. I think when the scouts see him, they will see what he can do,” he concluded.
